Remove the battery cover from the back of the  sensor, then take out the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032 battery. Ensure that the + and – are in the correct position and then replace the battery cover on the sensor. The sensor should blink 4 times after replacing a new battery. If the sensor does not blink 4 times, try a new battery.
